Rach Family Trust working hand in hand with the local level

The country has been in a state of continuous lock down since the 24th of March due to the global outbreak of the corona virus.

A social organization has handed over food items as a relief to Buddha Shanti Rural Municipality of Jhapa to distribute to its citizens so that the working class, the disabled, and the extremely poor families do not have to go hungry.

A social organization called Rach Family Trust handed over the relief on Friday. Keshab Dhungel, chief of Sita-Ramesh Campus and representative of the organization handed over the relief packages to the chairman of the Buddhashanti Rural Municipality, Ramesh Kumar Bhujel.

According to Campus Chief Dhungel, the food items include rice, oil, salt, lentils, and soap as sought by the rural municipality. All 65 families will receive 25 kilograms of the package each.

Receiving the relief items, Chairman Bhujel applauded the effort of the organization. He thanked the organization for providing relief package to the working class, the disabled, and the extremely poor families during the crisis. He said that the relief materials will be distributed on a ward basis.

“I am happy to be able to help the local government in the distribution of relief despite small in quantity and being a citizen of Buddhashanti, I am very happy to help people of my place,” said Nabina Bishwakarma, director of Rach Family Trust. She thanked Rabbi Roach, CEO of the Ratch Family Trust, for providing financial support to the relief effort.

She informed that the organization has already provided assistance to Nepal, India, Pakistan, Maldives, and other countries and will continue to do so in the coming days.
